Working on a Federation and Arts & Crafts house in Strathfield from 1998 till 2019 [that’s more than 20 years!]. The house was originally built by the grandson of the founder of Arnotts biscuits and owned for a while by the owner of Lowes. I/we Supply and Installed: custom-made cedar flyscreens; general maintenance; cedar balusters with a very original flower; fretwork; window seat; seating; picture rails; corbels; extension; new kitchen; concrete slab & carport; metal roof restoration; 70 lineal metres of new front fence including demolition, excavation, concrete piers, reinforced footings, brickwork, sandstone caps, timber infills, sliding gates; maintenance of the fence & balustrades; front door; furniture maintenance; Aussie hardwood rose arch.

Federation house @ Burwood. ALL NEW- sewer connection to circa 1930’s underground 225mm diameter Sydney Water main 3.7 metres deep, 42 lineal metres of plastic sewer line, 5000-litre plastic underground rainwater tank, 2 no. 6 metres long plastic crate absorption trenches, 40sqm veneer extension with recycled material, 37sqm galvanised steel frame carport, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, electrical wiring, 3no. windows and 2 no. doors, and landscaping. Restoration of wallpapered walls, slate roof, front windows, kauri pine floors, skirtings, external posts and barge board mouldings for a client ( since 1994).

Since 2010, work on a property in Hunters Hill including repairing rotting floor frames; repairing rotted kitchen cabinets and window sills; replacing rotted fascia boards and fretting; repairing drainage problems.

12 no. steps- butchered in the ’70s, restored with reproduction terrazzo step treads and authentic English glazed riser tiles @ Coogee.
